When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me, Lord." I am a believer that God created each one of us with a unique talent, therefore, use it well to serve Him.

Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge - Cosmo Cricket

About two years ago, crafter's found out that Tuesday Morning is a place where you can find craft treasures without ruining your craft budget.  Here is a Cosmo Cricket kit I found during one of my trips there.
It's about time now to turn this kit into a wonderful creation...
Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge is Cosmo Cricket Contest.  All that requires is for us to use Cosmo Cricket products, three Cricut cuts and a Cuttlebug folder.
With this challenge, I decided to make a hanging frame for my niece, Jannez.  I used Kate's ABC solely for all the Cricut cuts and Victoria embossing folder, which happens to be one of my fave.  All products used with the exceptions on bling, beads, cardstock and adhesives were all Cosmo Cricket.
I used TH glossy accent on the little girls, flowers and the name Jannez to make the images pop-out.

I added some beads, to accent the plain twines.
Rather than leave the end of the twines plain, I cut some hearts using Martha Stewart cardstock.
After cutting the hearts, I run tem to my Cuttlebug machine and used Victoria embossing folder, which happens to be my favorite.
That's it for now.  Until next challenge...

Big Lots Enabler

Just a quick post to share with you.  Over the weekend, we run to Big Lots and guess what I found in between the papers... a Martha Stewart 24 X 36 craft mat which I paid $8 versus the regular price of $42.

Sometimes, you really dont know what you can find at Big Lots.  That's why my hubby and I loves to go there...

Head out now to the nearest Big Lots in your area...

Kraftin' Kimmie Blog Challenge - Let's Go to the Office

Another week is done but it also mean another great challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie. This challenge is Let's Go to the Office.  This week's hostess is Krafty Kerry and she wants us to incorporate any kind of office supplies on our creation.  Well, here is my entry for the week:
I used a fun yet creepy doily using Martha Stewart corner punch then added some bling.  The bats were punched out too using MS craft punch.
I used labeler, clips, stapler, and a piece of paper from a tablet. I also added a silver spider charm to finish the touch.
I had fun making this card.  I felt really good because I was able to use those old school embellishments that I collected some time ago.

Oh, do you know I was the lucky winner last week.  I guess, Zelda the Zombie was a lucky charm...
Until next challenge...
