When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me, Lord." I am a believer that God created each one of us with a unique talent, therefore, use it well to serve Him.

A birthday LO for Ella

Last night was like many other nights. I was having a hard time sleeping and of course that best way to wait for daytime is to do crafting.

This is my daughter Ella on her last birthday and she is my inspiration for today's project.
I will be using this page LO as my entry to Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge and Fantabulous Cricut - Challenge Me Monday.  The rule for Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge is to make a project that includes (A) Pop of (B) Bright (C) Color.  We also need to incorporate 1 of something; 2 of something and 3 of something. While at Fantabulous Cricut - Challenge Me Monday rule is as simple as make any kind of YELLOW project.

Here's my LO:

A Pop of Bright Color : RED
1 of something is number 6
2 of something are 2 red rolled rosette
3 of something are the 3 blue butterflies embellishments
I can't wait to get home so I can print Ella's picture and adhere it to this one page LO.  Oh, I missed those days when I do scrapbook pages solely...

Did you know that I only used one Cricut cartridge for this project?  Doily, flourish, leaves and branches, flowers, rolled rosette, labels, number 6, pennant, circle and scalloped circle are just some of  the images you find from CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  It is so versatile and I think I've used it in every project I made lately.  I highly suggest to grab one and I'm sure you'll love it too.  If by any chance you don't know any CTMH  consultant, let me know and I'll be more than happy to give you my consultant's contact info.

That's it for now.  Hope you like my scrapbook page...
Hugs to all...

Happy Valentines to the Sweetest yet Grouchiest Little Girl

I made this card especially for my daughter Ella. She is the sweetest yet the grouchiest little girl I've ever known, if that's possible LOL. She was my inspiration when I made this card.

This entry is for the following challenges:

Cricut Cards Challenge - Valentines card for child using any cartridges and colors you'd like
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Neglected cartridge.  I chose Sanrio Hello Kitty.  If I remember correctly, the last time I used it was September 2009.  Boohoo!  That was almost 16months ago.

My son Jackie says, "I'm sure Ate (that's how you call big sister in Filipino language) will like it.
She loves Hello Kitty, Mommy!
Every time my son look at my card, he makes me nervous.  Remember the pacifier!?  LOL
PAPER: Doodlebug, Martha Stewart and American Craft
TOOLS: Cricut Expression, Gypsy, PC paper trimmer, ATG, Zip Dry, and Zig 2-way glue pen
CARTRIDGE: Sanrio - Hello Kitty (Hello Kitty, heart with arrow and "I Love You" phrase) and Twinkle Toes (banner)
EMBELLISHMENT: Recollection flat-back pearls, unknown brand ribbon, novelty buttons from Joann's and baker's twine
OTHERS: Action Wobble

I'm really looking forward to giving this to her.  I'm sure she'll love it.  Who wouldn't like a Hello Kitty and Action Wobble, right!?
Hugs!
