When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me, Lord." I am a believer that God created each one of us with a unique talent, therefore, use it well to serve Him.

Baptismal Guestbook and Card

Two weeks prior to the event, I was packing everything for Sophia's big day.  I was already taping the box when I realized I need to make a guestsbook and card for her.  So instead of going to sleep that night, I decided I have to whip a simple card and guestbook before sending the stuff.

I used a bunch of scraps for the front page, where the focal point was a frame for Sophia.
I used my Stampin' Up SAB stamp kit and Martha Stewart Craft Your Own Stamp for each pages of the guestbook.

This is supposedly an entry for DCWV first card challenge but like the many attempts I did, I wasn't able to submit it.
Don't you just love the doily I used?  I love it and I'm glad I got it.
Oh, BTW, its a Stampin' Up die...

Hope you did find some inspiration on the DIY Baptismal stuff I made.  If I had the time and the oppurtunity, I would have made some flower decor, cupcake/cake topper and centerpiece for the table.  My brother and my sister-in-law was very happy and pleased when they got the stuff I sent so I guess thats what really counts...

Hope I can still find some pics of my projects the last months that I failed to post...

Baptismal Souvenirs and Treat Bags

I also made boxes for the souvenir as well as treat bags using Cricut cartridge, Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.

 Treat Boxes...
 The souvenirs...
  The whole nine yards...
Hmmm, do you think I've forgot something???

Baptismal Banner

Here's the baptismal banner I made for the occasion...  I cut them using Cricut Expression and like usual, I have to use the versatile CTMH cartridge and Ole.

I really love this gorgeous Spring stack of DCWV.

Watch out for the souvenir...

Baptismal Invites for Sophia

Couple months ago, my brother asked me to make baptismal invitation for my niece, Sophia.  They needed about 60 invites.  I came up with a simple design and used Spring as the theme for the occasion.

I used Crafty Secret stamps and MS stamp around the page for the images.
Oh, did you know that I used wedding invitation kit on these invites? I did! I found them during one of those rare trips to Goddwill.  What's good about it, I paid $4.50 for the boxed kit and I still have leftovers...  You can never tell what gem you can find in the thrift stores...

Until next time...

TH Distressed Markers and Spring Edition Inkpads

I'm sure that most of you have heard already TH newly released distressed markers. Some are pleased and quite a few were disappointed.  With all those markers that's currently out of the market, it was really hard to say which one would be a hit.  I got mine from 7kidscollegefund and I waited about two weeks before I was able to play with it.
I am not sure if you will call this stamping but as you are aware now, my craftroom was a huge mess and I am also in the middle of packing our household goods. No way to really sit down and play but so far I am pleased with the results. I can say that, TH did it again...
I may have been pleased with the markers but  my reaction when I tried the Spring Collection of the distressed inkpads was, "Duh! There's nothing special about it!" Maybe its just me... maybe I'm in for a surprise later...
Just sharing what my thoughts about TH new products... Oh, I gave in to my curiosity, I bought the Winter Limited Collection of the distressed inkpads.  I'm keeping fingers crossed that it will be a good one...

Yikes!

This is what my craft room look like since April.  I've been doing inventory, organizing, resizing, rediscovering stuff long been ignored and packing for months now... Yes, you read me right.  It's packing time once again and off somewhere else.  The thing is we are very limited as to how much we can bring and how much we can store. DH would not agree for me to give away nor sell my stuff so he convinced me to get a climate control storage.  How nice, right but, I'm just a little worry about the cost.
So for those of you who haven't heard from me for awhile, you now know why.
Take care...
