When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything you gave me, Lord." I am a believer that God created each one of us with a unique talent, therefore, use it well to serve Him.

My first Project Life project...

Okay so I took the plunge and joined the Project Life wagon.  Now the next step is how to get started!? Think! Think! Think! Can I really do this?

No answer came but my hands started picking one thing after the other.  The next thing I knew I made 10 pages in a matter of hours.  No fuzz.  No mess.  A total guilt free memory keeping.

These pictures were taken when our first born Ella, was born.  It took me 8years to get it done but it only took me couple hours to do it.  Thank you, Becky Higgins for creating Project Life.

Now, its a work week again and I'm back to doing the toughest job I have right now and that is home schooling.  Today, while I do homeschooling, I edited pictures so I can blogged about my Project Life.  Tomorrow and for the rest of the week, I will work on the story/journaling of this chapter of our lives.

When I showed this to our daughter, she asked me why I didn't have the album.  These pages sits in a box where the PL photo packet came.  Hubby said, go ahead and buy the Project Life album and some of the stuff you need.  Son said, do mine next Mom! Ain't it good to have a supportive husband and kids who are interested to see their lives in pictures and read the story behind it!?

Again, thank you Becky Higgins....

Just before I posted this, I got a notification from Amazon saying, my next purchases is already on the way... Can't wait!

Time for bed...

Thank you for this post! My children are all grown and gone and I thought that PL would be a waste of my time as I don't have near the photos they take nowadays.....but this showed me I can use my older photos and still make great pages if I chose....now do I chose to ???? lol

WAUW what an awesome project here dear. I absolutely LOVE, what you´ve done here, it is sooooooo great, and I can imagine, what this will mean to your kids, when they´re grown up. It was actually something like this, I had in mind, when I talked about making an album for each of our granddaughters for their time spent here with us during their life, and give it to them, when they got married some time. But I´m still not sure, I´ll be able to get them done, and I can´t make to one, and not the rest then. But this is really awesome hun, and I so love your pages here. They´re all awesome work.
Thanks so much for sharing them here.

Thank you for dropping by Sandy. You should try Project Life. I thought it was hard too but definitely not. Take care...

Hello Maryann, thank you for religiously leaving sweet comments on my post. I tried so many times to add a reply button but it just wouldn't work. Know that I appreciate your time and effort to leave me some inspirational comments.

As for the Project Life. Maybe you should try it very slowly. This is not like a regular scrapbooking where you need to be good at pagemaps, color coordination and designs. This is an absolute guilt free memory keeping system. My initial project only took me couple hours to do it. If I'm not doing home schooling, I would probably come up with more projects by now. Let me know if you decided to do it and if you need help. Take care and big hugs!
